- Billy Warren
shared three large portraits that were found under the linoleum
on the second floor of the former HyTech building. The
portraits were verified by Pat Landrum Counts as being the work
of her photographer grandfather, G. W. Landrum. Jerry Dowd
volunteered to take the portraits to Bill McDonald to see if he
can identify the subjects. Then they will be given to the Local
History/Genealogy Room at the Florence-Lauderdale Public
Library.
- Billy Warren
distributed copies of a letter to HPI in which Dr. Darrel
Russell requested that representatives of various groups
interested in local history attend a meeting at the public
